Chris Gabrieli Visits FSC
Chris Gabrieli, 2006 Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate and co-founder and chairman of Massachsetts 2020, came to FSC on Wednesday, October 17. He was invited to speak by the members of the student Business Leadership Club.
Gabrieli is a successful entrepreneur and a spokesperson for corporate responsibility. Massachusetts 2020 is an educational non-profit focused on expanding educational and economic opportunities in Massachusetts. The focus of his work in the business and educational spheres is to solve problems and change situations.
He told the students that the key ingredients of leadership are integrity and understanding of what matters. He also urged them always to remember that any organization is a group of people whose needs should be respected.
President Flanagan commended the initiative of the students who had arranged the event. He also noted that opportunities to discuss careers in such a setting are truly beneficial for students.
