Faculty and Staff Experts Share Their Knowledge at FSC and Beyond
For faculty and staff at Framingham State College, the job goes beyond the classroom and the office. While teaching and supporting students are priorities, they do so much more.
From exhibiting photos at the French Library in Boston (Professor Robert Alter, communication arts) to participating in an international conference on portfolio research with colleagues (Ms. Andrea Pickles, academic technology and distance learning), FSC faculty and staff regularly present their expertise locally, nationally, and internationally.
Students are the primary beneficiaries of this expertise. Last Thursday, Andrea Mariani, ’08, nutrition major and student of Dr. Suzanne Neubauer, presented her research at a Massachusetts Dietetic Association meeting. “It’s great working with people who have expertise in the field of nutrition,” she says. “It really helps us reach our goals.”
