Students Hear From Alumni About Careers in Technology

Careers in technology: a topic that draws a crowd. Friday, February 1, 160 students and faculty from the college and surrounding high schools gathered in the College Center Forum to attend the “Careers, Technology and You” information session presented by the computer science department.

Edwin Guarin of Microsoft, hosted the event. A panel of alumni working in high tech spoke to students interested in pursuing careers in the field.

Other speakers included Ali Kafel of Stratus, Scott Waters of Computer Associates, and Ram Iyer,’06, a business analyst at EMC who is also pursuing an MBA in international business at Brandeis University.
