Accepted Students Meet Faculty on Campus
To help them make the all-important decision about which college to enroll in for the next four years, 650-700 accepted students and family members came to visit FSC Saturday, April 5, the first of the restructured Accepted Students Days.
Some prospective students, above, were quick to bond with the FSC Ram mascot.
“It went extremely well,” said Associate Director of Admissions Shayna Bailey. “I liked the fact the students had the opportunity to meet faculty and current students at presentations in the departments. This is what we offer our students, small classes and a lot of opportunities to talk to their professors.”
The April 5 program was designed for prospective students planning to major in biology, chemistry, computer science, education, fashion design and retailing, food and nutrition, food science, health and consumer sciences, mathematics, pre-engineering, and undeclared.
The April 12 Accepted Students Day was for students aiming to major in art, business administration, communication arts, economics, English, geography, history, modern languages, politics, psychology, sociology, and undeclared.
